There are a few possible reasons why the charger may not work after connecting to the power supply:

The voltage and current of the charger do not match your battery. You may have purchased a charger with the wrong parameters. Please provide the brand and model of your electric bike or the parameters and plug of the original charger.

Due to the limited lifespan of the lithium battery, the charger will not work if the battery is damaged. Your battery may be damaged if it has not been used for more than 12 months or 2-3 months.

If the green light turns on when the power is on, but the LED light does not turn red after the battery is connected, the connector may be loose and in poor contact. Reinserting the plug can help maintain good contact.

If there is a green light when plugged into the power supply, and the light goes out after connecting the electric bicycle, it is because of an internal short circuit in the electric bicycle, which triggers the charger's self-protection function. In this case, you should check your e-bike battery and replace it if necessary.
